Boomin // Email A/B testing



In a review of Boomin’s email content we wanted to see if we could increase our consumer engagement. And so over several rounds of A/B testing we tried out different styles of subject lines, content length and also how content is displayed. The example show here is the visual changes we made to the emails where we tried different header content for our email marketing. Would emails recieve more engagement depending on the level of imagery in the header.

When reviewing the emails after send we discovered that emails with header images increase the length of time a consumer spent reading the email. However, the email that did not have the header image had a higher click-through-rate. We were able to take this information forward when designing our consumer marketing and automated emails.
